Wool Care Instructions
- Installation
Correct installation will prolong the life of your runner. It should be installed by a skilled fitter over a thin, high quality underlay. Please get in touch if you need detailed fitting instructions. - Vacuuming
Dirt and grit on the surface of your runner will contribute to wear and tear. Clean regularly using a vacuum. Our wool runners are the most hard wearing runners on the market and if vacuumed regularly they will literally last a lifetime. - Spillages
- Remove any excess liquid using a clean cloth or paper towel – press firmly over the spillage to blot the liquid out of the runner and into the cloth
- Using a clean cloth, dab the spill area with upholstery shampoo or a wool detergent.
- Rinse the area with a little water and blot dry, again using a clean cloth or towel. Use as little water as possible.
- Never scrub or rub a stain as this can damage the structure of the weave.
- Do not use dark materials to blot liquid spillages as the dye may transfer.
- Always use a gentle detergent or shampoo designed for wool.

2. UK: Woolsafe (UK and Worldwide) has a number of products on their website. - If in doubt, call a professional cleaner. If you have found one in your area you are not sure about then we are happy to advise if they are fit to clean our runners. A happy runner = a happy home.
